How to wash & care

For the environment and your clothes:

Wash at low temperatures and preferably not more than necessary. The garments are made to last. If you no longer wish to wear them, pass them on or return them to Saint Mignar for recycling.

Viscose

We recommend that all SAINT MIGNAR viscose garments should be washed gently at a maximum of 30 degrees. After washing the garment, it is important to dry it either flat or hanging. We also recommend gently pulling the fabric into shape while it is still wet. You can then iron the garment in low to medium heat, gently stretching the fabric. This step is important because the fabric reacts to the heat and returns to its original shape.

Cotton

Our cotton garments should be washed gently at a maximum of 30 degrees. After washing, it is important to dry the garment either flat or hanging. We do not recommend drying in a tumble dryer. You can iron our cotton articles at low to medium heat. The care label in the side seam indicates the temperature and other important information.

Linen

The linen fibre is not susceptible to dirt and does not fluff. In order to preserve the natural fibre structure, linen garments should be washed gently at a maximum temperature of 30 degrees. Then lay out flat or hang for drying. Linen does not belong in the tumble dryer, but can be ironed at low to medium heat.
